The People for Jobs Traineeship Programme (PJTP) was first launched as a pilot by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in Jun 2001 to provide an incentive in the form of a wage support, to employers to encourage them to create and make available suitable job opportunities for local workers who are in their 40s and above.
